Sleep Deprivation, Fatigue, Exercise/Response Nutrition & Fitness for Duty Training

Dec 04, 2023 | 6:00 pm

This free training is hosted by the Oklahoma Medical Reserve Corps (OKMRC).

In order to help our community we must take care of ourselves first. Join us to learn tips on being “fit for duty.” During Wellness Trainings,  OKMRC will explore various ways to stay “fit” physically, mentally, emotionally, and financially. The more prepared you are the more resilient you are!

Join OKMRC to hear Dr. Rick Cohen discuss how sleep deprivation, fatigue and nutrition affect performance and cause safety concerns in all areas of daily activities, work and deployment.  He will discuss ways to mitigate and keep you safe and productive and provide tips to enhance performance.  He will also discuss what it really means to be “Fit for Duty.”

This activity has been submitted to Georgia Nurses Association for approval to award contact hours. Georgia Nurses Association is accredited as an approver of nursing continuing professional development by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.
